Project Investment Detail

The Project Investment Detail dashboard gives leaders and delivery managers visibility into how time and cost are distributed across projects and contributors. It helps assess resource allocation, delivery effort, and financial impact by combining throughput, sprint efficiency, hours worked, and cost per person.

What It Shows

The main table is grouped by Project. Each project can be expanded to reveal detailed contributor-level insights. The columns include:

  • Throughput – Total tasks completed for the project or by the contributor.
  • Sprint Efficiency – Percentage of planned tasks delivered within sprints.
  • Invested Hours – Time spent on the project by the team or individual.
  • Cost – Financial investment per contributor, calculated as:
    Invested Hours × Hourly Rate

The Hourly Rate is shown next to each contributor’s name and can be set per user in the admin panel.

Key Use Cases

  • Evaluate project cost distribution: Understand how much has been invested (in time and dollars) per project and contributor.
  • Identify high-effort, low-efficiency projects: Spot where delivery effort is not translating into results.
  • Support client reporting: Offer clear evidence of work distribution, especially in service-based teams.
  • Enable budget control: Keep track of internal time and financial resources against expectations.
