With this guide, you’ll be able to integrate GitHub with Leanmote, centralising key project information and improving productivity, visibility and analysis. We use a read-only API token to ensure a secure connection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leanmote integrates with GitHub using Fine-grained Personal Access Tokens (PATs)<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Obtain the Token<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Log into your GitHub profile and navigate to Settings<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under Personal access tokens<\/strong>, select the option Fine-grained tokens<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Click Generate new token<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Name your token: leanmote-app<\/code> <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Configure the token to \u201cNo expiration\u201d<\/em> or select the expiration that best fits your needs. Token settings can be modified later if required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Choose whether to grant access to selected repositories (up to 50, due to GitHub API limits) or to all repositories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Set the following permissions and click “Generate new token”:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2: Add the Application Password to Leanmote<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    • Log into your Leanmote account.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Navigate to the Productivity Tools<\/strong> section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Elegir GitHub Integration<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Paste your token<\/strong> into the provided field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Click Save<\/strong> to complete the integration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      By following these steps, you\u2019ll successfully integrate GitHub with Leanmote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Repository Permissions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

      We request the following repository-level permissions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        Required to list repositories and access basic repository information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Pull requests (read-only)<\/strong>
        Required to retrieve pull requests, associated commits, reviews, and comments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Contents (read-only)<\/strong>
        Only used to fetch commit metadata not associated with a Pull Request<\/strong>.
        If all commits in a repository are linked to PRs, this permission is not necessary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
